He graduated from Gazi University Faculty of Medicine in 1990. He completed his specialty training in Dermatology Department of Gülhane Military Medical Academy in 1996.
He became an assistant professor in 2003, an associate professor in 2007 and retired from the Gülhane Military Medical Academy Dermatology Department in 2011. Hakan Erbil has more than a hundred scientific articles. He participated and presented in numerous national and international scientific meetings. Furthermore, he has done countless tutoring and held training courses in aesthetic and cosmetic dermatology field and still serves as the authorized tutor of several international companies in this field for Turkey.
Hakan Erbil is a member of the Turkish Medical Association, Ankara Medical Chamber, Turkish Dermatology Association, Dermatological Surgery Association, Istanbul Cosmetic Dermatology Association, Dermato-oncology Association, and a board member of the Aesthetic and Cosmetic Dermatology Working Group of the Turkish Dermatology Association. He is also a board member of the Aesthetic Cosmetic Dermatology Association. He is currently working full time in his own clinic in Ankara.
