Dermatologist

Associate Professor Dr. Ayşenur Botsalı obtained her medical degree from the Faculty of Medicine at Başkent University in 2010. Following her graduation, she pursued two years of residency training in the Department of Internal Medicine at Hacettepe University from 2011 to 2013. However, she subsequently shifted her residency focus to dermatology. In 2017, she successfully completed her dermatology residency training at Ankara University Faculty of Medicine.

Dr. Botsalı commenced her professional career after her residency, assuming a position at her present institution, Ankara Gülhane Training and Research Hospital Dermatology. She has held the role of administrator in the Dermatology Department until 2023. Her research interests encompass a broad range of topics, including pigmentation disorders, aesthetic and cosmetic dermatology, laser-mediated drug transfer, photocarcinogenesis, dermatooncology, and hidradenitis suppurativa.

Dr. Botsalı has made notable contributions to the field, having published over 30 articles in esteemed international refereed journals. Additionally, she has been actively involved in teaching, serving as an instructor for various courses on cadaver dissection and facial dermal filler techniques. Recognizing her expertise, she assumed the position of Chairman of the Executive Board for the Turkish Dermatology Association's Aesthetic and Cosmetic Dermatology Working Group in 2021.
